Each tablet contains 125 mg of glucosamine, the major component of the protective lining on the inside of the bladder. This lining is damaged in cats suffering from FLUTD allowing urine to inflame the bladder causing cystitis. Administering Cystease helps protect the bladder and reduces the painful inflammation.
Dosage guideline: 1 tablet daily in the case of cystitis flare up or in the more serious cases, reducing to one every other day for maintenance.
One bottle contains 300 capsules, which should last from 10-20 months, depending on whether you give one capsule daily or every other day.
